I didn’t say NZ will win or india can’t. But I have been impressed by NZs bowling and batting here.
we were **** for most of yesterday though. Very very good today but that's just the way things go isn't it.

Our run rate is 1.7. We haven't got away on India at all.

India has bowled well without much luck but good session for us. Conway going to tea just short of twenty means man has big runs in sight. If he lasts another session he'll score huge....

The thing about bowling fuller isn't just that you get more edges, but front foot edges are easier to catch. As we saw here edges off the backfoot are more likely to fly above the slips, or pop up high into the air and into no-man's land.

Having short-leg in for Shami was a good idea. India bowled well, the NZ attack is just better suited to the conditions. None of our guys hunt purely on swing. We need Bhuvi. Sigh. He'd be a step up on Ashwin with batting and fielding too, and we'd still have Jadeja.

We're crawling at the moment. India bowling well. I hope this gets easier because Latham inevitably gives a chance after 150 odd balls.

Shami was not so much chasing that ball as he was jogging with it to the fence.

Bumrah rusty early in this spell. That first ball wasn't a slower ball, he's just trying to get warmed up.

Yup, if he could at least make it to 70 after getting in would be pretty invaluable in the context here.

Lack of turn for Ashwin is very confusing for me because if it seams it spins and it seamed
