Hell yeah.

Rubbish innings from Pant tbh. Tough conditions and all but looked a walking wicket every ball.

Was just thinking it might be dangerous to take the new ball against two set batsmen, as might not give the controllable swing and nip we're still getting from the old one.

So uh ideal to get that wicket.

Whether Boult is saved for the new ball or not is immaterial really. NZ don't even need two bowlers.

I''m still wondering if it's the best decision to take it ... might take 20 overs before it starts moving around, especially in these lush conditions, that top layer of the ball won't come off quickly.

Jadeja and Jaimeson, least favourite members of the opposition for these teams. Should be fun/aggravating depending on your allegiance.

Some justice there ... shocking shot in these conditions though.
The commentators try their best to glorify/justify Pant's non existent technique  gavaskar saying he's opened his stance, Sanga saying he's side on deliberately for long. That's just the way he stands and plays.

He's definitely an impact player and on his day can win games like Dhoni but technique no way. He actually refreshing to watch though.
