Depay and Promes actually released a song or did some rap collaboration together a while ago.He might be a Promes fan.
A guy with some weird issues, even by NL chaos footballer standards...

Yeah, but weirdly I think if he picks the right players it might work out for them better than another coach would. Their squad as a whole doesn't impress me in terms of form, there's a lot of players in there who didn't seem to have great seasons from what's been reported and from the bits I've seen. And it looks like he's just gonna play more defensively because of that, which in my opinion always gives an underperforming squad the best chance of overachieving in a tournament format. The easy group helps, and topping that could lead to a weak 3rd place finisher. Could be very easily in the last 8 without playing anyone who you'd even consider a dark horse.Consensus seems to be that the main problem is De Boer being the worst coach in the tournament. Their group must be the easiest in Euros history though.
Haha yeeeeeesssssYeah I mean Germany won a World Cup with Low in charge, having a terrible coach doesn't mean you can't succeed.
Ha, there's a name I didn't expect to hear today. I actually thought he was going to turn out well as a signing here in Australia, at least from an entertainment point of view. Foreign number 10s with a bit of pedigree tend to have a lot of success in the A-League. As it turned out though between injuries and coping with playing in the heat he just wasn't anywhere near the level required. Frequently the best player to watch in warm up, but once the game started he just never hit his stride.Yeah I mean Germany won a World Cup with Low in charge, having a terrible coach doesn't mean you can't succeed.
Speaking from experience it's one of the most frustrating problems for fans though. It's one thing not to have the players, it's another if your best players are sitting on the bench because you're managed by a complete idiot. I'll be boring people talking about the international career Wes Hoolahan didn't have until I'm an old man, he's still ripping up League Two at 39 ffs.
Yeah he'd had fitness problems the season before too.Ha, there's a name I didn't expect to hear today. 's funny how everyone ended up wanting to play at centre back. Daley Blind keeps getting highly rated by one of my friends but I think that's for eyecandy reasons.Consensus seems to be that the main problem is De Boer being the worst coach in the tournament. I think the delay of a year has got me more hyped for it than usual. Feels like a long time since any real meaningful internationals were played.Feeling pretty hyped for this tournament.
Yes, agreed, and why I keep on blathering on about Graham Taylor.Yeah I mean Germany won a World Cup with Low in charge, having a terrible coach doesn't mean you can't succeed.

Not sure I fully agree on the first point, though I get what you mean. But yeah he had some season. Him and Mullin are why an otherwise average Cambridge went up. And he could only play the Saturday games, and there were probably about 16 midweek games this season. Had he been able to play them all they'd have likely won the league at a canter. The records with and without him were pretty telling I believe. He's probably still good enough for us tbh. League Two isn't easy to stand out in, especially as a small technical player. But his body couldn't take it.

Not just left, he's gone over to the dark side.Has he left Cambridge?
