Norwood's on Fire
Haha. Good on him. Hope he does well but suspect he won't get up to much there.

I always liked him but was much better from the bench for us. Can't argue with his 20/21 efforts though

Not sure I fully agree on the first point, though I get what you mean. But yeah he had some season. Him and Mullin are why an otherwise average Cambridge went up. And he could only play the Saturday games, and there were probably about 16 midweek games this season. Had he been able to play them all they'd have likely won the league at a canter. The records with and without him were pretty telling I believe.
Ha yeah Ireland had a similar stat, he really brings an attack to life.

Ireland recently went on a run of something like 1 goal in 12 games. I wasn’t being entirely serious but he really couldn’t do much worse.

Been fun so far I think, apart from the obvious unfun moment, but even that had positives, the Finnish-danish chant, the way the Danish players blocked the camera, Alex Scott's word.

Wasn't expecting much, because I don't like the format, and thought it might lead to negativity, but it seems most teams realize a convincing win will get you all-but- qualified, mind you that might lead to nothing matches coming up.

Fergie and his driver were turned away from the VIP parking area at Wembley. I don't particular agree with preferential treatment for anyone, but as this privilege exists it's a bit surprising that he didn't qualify.

The first two rounds of games have been very good but if today is anything to go by this might be where we get punished for the group stage format.

My unpopular opinion is that a 32 team Euros will be an improvement. Dilution in quality is far outweighed by the greater jeopardy and fairness in the group stages.
