*Official* Australia in New Zealand T20s 2021

Was still decent in t20s for NZ, but I'd prefer to give Allen a run as well.

No room for Milne if Ferguson is fit ... and I see he's aiming to make the Bangladesh t20s.
Definitely wouldn’t prefer Allen after the working over Kugz has given him in their last few ford trophy games. Reckon he’ll be found out as quickly as Seifert has.

Allen ain't available for selection anymore from what I know in any case.

Munro in recent BBL: 443 runs @ 31, SR 128, 4 x 50s and 2 x 40s in 14 innings. Against some of the bowlers that have made Siefert a walking wicket.
More importantly, Munro being a ‘walking wicket’ in T20I was just never a thing. Did nothing to get dropped.

Not a big t20 fan but not fun to see how awful our t20 team is. We can be sk much better.
We bat the first 6 overs way too much like an Odi. Not just today.
Too much strategic thinking imo.

You need to keep hitting even if you are 10/2 in t20s.
Someone like siefert has no place hitting 19 off 27. Hit out or get out.

Bring back munro?
Seifert is having a poor series but Finch was 24 off 27. It was a difficult wicket. Not many people were timing it well.

Don't know which team he's going to represent but he's been picked up.

It's either got to be RCB, csk or kkr. Quite obvious you know why these.

Would prefer to reserve my thoughts on this for when the series is done, but one thing I’m definitely concerned about is the inflexibility- being too slow to adapt when conditions not favour or when situation not going according to script. With three games on the trot here as well as the women’s series, I don’t think the way the surface is playing should be a surprise anyway.

Kiwi fans have to be the most reactionary on here. A week ago you couldn't stop going on about how good the team was and how gun certain players are, and now it's all about how crap the team is and players are terrible lol

It's ****ing T20 cricket whoever wins is like 80% luck

Why are we so **** against Aus?

I hate seeing us get hammered by them all the time (series looks certain after being up 2-0). If India lose against England, lord have mercy on us because I certainly don't expect this lot to show up against Aus at Lords when the pressure is really on.
Hey hey whoa (and to your other posts) - we won the first two games. It's 2-all.

This pitch is going to suit Australia better because they have 3 frontline ish spinners and probably play spin better than us as a collective.

Remember that game was meant to be in Auckland and the next at the Mount, but it'll end up being on another dust bowl, which to be honest, Australia start raging favourites for.

But to get carried away like that, saying they think we're inferior, like it means one level of a **** towards the WTC final is getting a bit silly I'd reckon.

I have to admit the way we've played on this deck hasn't overly thrilled me, like we had plans on how we wanted to play at Eden Park and we've just rolled with them regardless. Seifert needed to go harder against the new ball yesterday because it was obvious that once that got older and coupled with the wearing of the wicket, it would be harder to score. 19 off 27 was criminal. The amount of singles was pretty piss poor. And honestly, I know Kane hates bowling but I'd like to think they would consider bowling him or Phillips on Sunday - it's much better than bringing Jamieson back late to give pace on the ball and clearly he's not skilled yet at hitting death lengths.

Stead tried to blame intent and how we went about it but I think our approach has been off too. I know it's just another T20 series who cares, but they should take them all seriously. Feel like we've gone through the motions in some respects.
