Santner at no 7 is such a nosebleed. Honestly I can't get how he bats so high. Got to be batting no higher than no. 9 Jamieson would be ahead of Santner for me.

Get six singles an over and that doesn't matter so much ...
We don't pick Guppy and Siefert to push singles. Is not their strength.

I assume they got told to take no risks off Agar / Zampa if they bowled in the powerplay, but attack the seamers. With hindsight it was a overly defensive tactic.

Guptill knows how to construct an innings ... don't think Seifert does.

The alternative is he goes to 8 and we have part-timers (Neesham/Mitchell/CDG/Williamson etc) making up the fifth bowler. Tricky balance.

If true that sounds almost defeatist. Agar and Zampa are pretty respectable short form bowlers, but you don’t want to give them too much respect either.

Are they really first choice Aussie spin bowlers. I'm surprised.

Why are we so **** against Aus?

I hate seeing us get hammered by them all the time (series looks certain after being up 2-0). If India lose against England, lord have mercy on us because I certainly don't expect this lot to show up against Aus at Lords when the pressure is really on.

That's it for me.. night guys. Why can't we win vs the Aussies? It's going to rain on Sunday and it's going to be a drawn series. Time to get drunk

What I hate most is the players rarely give a good account of themselves.

Aussies consider most of our players average or crap because of how poorly they perform against them.

I feel like the cake tin is our worst ground.
Off hand, I remember going to games there where they beat England (2018 & 2019) and India (2019) over the past few years.

Jamieson making a case for a promotion up the order.

So what spinner do we bring in for the final game? It's going to be slow as **** and spinning square after another two days.
Or go full 1980s flashback to suit the uniform and pick a dibbly dobbly medium pacer. Hello Will Williams!
