FJ is being extremely harsh on players here with the review criticism. Obviously, Puji thought it was bat first. It was close enough to see why batsmen will think that.

Yeah it's like the Bess one. Both went for the review immediately because they knew they hit it. I reckon being able to tell whether it's bat or pad first is particularly hard as a batsmsn.

I would have sent Pant in at 5. Need some momentum to be injected to this innings. England have bowled tight but apart from a couple that turned big from Leach and that snorter from Stokes, nothing has been so difficult to justify this run rate. Just seems like India premeditated playing very slow in the first session expecting England's bowlers to tire out later in the day. Which is fine but you gotta be able to switch strategies according to how the opposition plays.

Unfortunately, I think you can bowl an over of full tosses and Rahane will still be vulnerable to those till he gets settled.
