The funny thing about KP saying it is he himself should know how dumb his tweet is considering England beat India on a way more lopsided minefield at Mumbai in 2012 after losing the toss. Maybe a big brain attempt to imply that unless you're KP, you cant overcome losing the toss in India?

When a greenish top in SENA countries swing by miles and gives no chance for batsman, it's all good and the SC batsmen need to learn to play swing.. But if the SENA countries batsmen get out to trurning balls, then it's not their technique or temparament problem.. It's only the pitch to blame.. What a hyprocatic bull ****.. This literally lasts a day before decks flatten out. If a pitch starts going through the top day one it doesn’t get anything more than better for the same skill set.

I actually think the toss is much less important in this game than it was in the last one. "Helpful for bowlers --> really helpful for bowlers" is a much more fair contest in terms of the two sides facing roughly the same challenge than "Total zombified road --> serious turner".

Yeah, tracks never aid swing after day 1 in SENA. And of course, the fact that this track has not had one ball misbehave in terms of bounce and the fact that the top layer of the pitch is not the only thing that counts and the fact that there is such a thing as the next layer of soil in a pitch are of course, common sense 101 for anyone who has tried to understand stuff for more than 2 minutes of it in their life will know.
