Wellington really missing some horrible dirty darty left arm spin. 6 overs of similar pace in the power play.

Interesting to see the speed gun in this match. Sears late 130s/early 140s - looks faster than what he actually is.

Edit: Not down-breeze though, so that no doubt adds a few ks.
Huh, I’ve been watching on Spark and haven’t seen any registered speeds, where are you watching the game?

Watching it on YouTube. For Sears first spell they showed the speed-radar for his first couple of overs.

McMillan was criticizing him on commentary for bowling every ball across the seam. Questioned why Sears wouldn't try and seam the ball.

Yeah they showed sears' speeds at release point on a table at the left side of the screen for his 2nd over. 137 to 144km. So yeah they didn't have the regular speedometer readings for every ball at the bottom like we do in regular tv cricket. Just a thing they did for this one sears over. First time we've seen this guys' speeds recorded so a pivotal moment for me. A season under chris donaldson alongside boult, ferg and wagner....sears could be even quicker and fitter....faster avg ball speed and stay on the park injury free.

Think he is carrying a niggle atm as well, hence missing the Firebirds last match. Definitely didn’t look as fast today as he did a few games ago in that scary spell.

Fully support Neesham going for it, coz now it’s getting a bit close for comfort. Should have had it finished with an over to spare at one stage ... still might I spose.
