Will Young looking good for a hundred. Hope he gets it. Next is clean shaven Ajaz Patel, he looks so different without the facial har.

One more player to chuck into the top order log jam: Young, Munro, Seifert, Phillips, Allen, Conway, Chapman and Guptill.

Spoilt for choices. Not an easy job for the selectors this time around.

Worker as well, he's had a fantastic campaign so far.

That was an awesome game... Serious knock by Mitchell and Cam. That drop from Taylor 8-) Hope Larsen wasn't watching.

Crikey, just looking at the scorecard what a crazy game. CD must have felt they had it in the bag with most of the Canterbury batsmen falling cheaply. Will have to watch the replay.

Fran Jonas is an outrageous talent at the age of 16. Interesting to see her in the White Ferns fold already.

Blaze has nearly won the semis. Again home finals for Blaze and Firebirds :thumbup1: Awesome achievement, two years in a row both men's and women's making the finals.

Pretty much Wellington vs Canterbury affair with Kings and Magicians making the finals too.

Keen to see Young in ODIs, reckon that should be a good format for him. T20Is - probably not.

Another impressive innings from Mitchell too, love his straight hits off spin.

I remember when Mitchell used to be rubbish against spin. Doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

In the test matches I liked his using feet and chipping over midwicket.

I'm not the best judge, but early Mitchell, I'm talking like era when ND made to CLT20 and earlier, he used to remind me of Harris or Oram starting an innings v spin. Bambis on ice and nothing but pads getting in the way.

Now, he seems good.

This is such a cricket nerd sitting on the couch thing for me to say, but I felt like CD got it wrong in that last over. Bowling hole to Henry/Shipley without a tight field, and initially the keeper back, was always going to be easy to get 1s. Looks like Bracewell executed perfectly but to Henry and Shipley who'd both not faced a ball before that over, it was easy enough for them to lay bat on full ones (no need to judge bounce when it's full). Make them work for it. And the field was nowhere near tight enough, mid off should've been by the stumps on that last ball if they were going to go near hole.

And this is the last time I'm going to say this because I'm going to write to them...the Spark highlights are so gash. They played the 'catch' off Young once, which I know **** all about because they never replayed it. Then we don't get the six at the end of the 19th over, which is about as important as any ball of the game. There's just no rhyme or reason to it.

haha, bowling length to sloggy tailenders though is a criminal offence.
