Bowling in T20s has been all about the change-up balls for a while now, but I can't help but wonder if some would be better off just going the old-fashioned fast-at-the-blockhole 5 out of 6 balls. Trying to bowl different slower balls every second ball is leading to a lot of **** full tosses and loose **** I've noticed, presumably because the bowlers can't get in a rhythm. Not saying they're doing the wrong thing, just a thought.
Welcome to enlightenment. This is my life's work to persuade the rest of the world that this is still the best option at the death, and always will be.

Meanwhile, I need to go and find an over-rated thread and post Joe Denly's name in it. How does this guy a) keep getting picked for England and more importanly b) get overseas gigs? He is absolutely hopeless.

Tbf he doesn't anymore

But yeah, as much as a I sort of liked him in the test side I really don't get why you'd make him your overseas signing for a T20 tournament. Feels like the fact that he bowls a bit of leg-spin counts disproportionately in his favour with this sort of thing.

Denly had his moments but if you were to pick a gash bash XI then Lewis Gregory gets a gig.
Think he had an excellent season for the Sixers, maybe three years ago? I know he played some good knocks for them. And I really don't rate him, he only played for England because he was mates with Ed Smith, everyone knows it.

Realistically Gregory actually batted better than Denly, but the fact that he's guaranteed to send down a least one over of pies every game before he gets dragged outweighed that in terms of gash.

Just had a look at their records on cricinfo. Denly, whose profile pic looks like he's just answered a knock on the door and is wondering what the hell you want, had 3 good scores. Which isn't good for a top order bat though he still has a chance to redeem his season with one good innings. You could say the same for Gregory i suppose, but its just I wouldn't give him the opportunity and play Wildermuth instead.
