Welcome to enlightenment. This is my life's work to persuade the rest of the world that this is still the best option at the death, and always will be.Bowling in T20s has been all about the change-up balls for a while now, but I can't help but wonder if some would be better off just going the old-fashioned fast-at-the-blockhole 5 out of 6 balls. Trying to bowl different slower balls every second ball is leading to a lot of **** full tosses and loose **** I've noticed, presumably because the bowlers can't get in a rhythm. Not saying they're doing the wrong thing, just a thought.
true, but you've got what you've gotIf only he was Ian Smith or a Danny Morrison
Tbf he doesn't anymoreMeanwhile, I need to go and find an over-rated thread and post Joe Denly's name in it. How does this guy a) keep getting picked for England and more importanly b) get overseas gigs? He is absolutely hopeless.
Most of them flopped except the Scorchers trio which have been the best of the lot. Scorchers hit the jackpot.A number of imports flopped, including Dawid Malan who's the #1 T20 batsman on the ICC rankings.
Think he had an excellent season for the Sixers, maybe three years ago? I know he played some good knocks for them. And I really don't rate him, he only played for England because he was mates with Ed Smith, everyone knows it.Denly had his moments but if you were to pick a gash bash XI then Lewis Gregory gets a gig.
Realistically Gregory actually batted better than Denly, but the fact that he's guaranteed to send down a least one over of pies every game before he gets dragged outweighed that in terms of gash.Denly had his moments but if you were to pick a gash bash XI then Lewis Gregory gets a gig.
Low bar if averaging 19 and striking at 104 is not too bad. He's probably captain of the 'looks good at the crease but hardly ever scores runs' XI.Mujeeb was gun for the Heat. Denly hasn't been too bad either.
