I'd disagree with you there. I wouldn't bother with a spinner on any of our pitches as none of them offer much IMO.

When you have a 4 man attack of Southee Wagner Boult and Jamieson, what does CDG even offer the attack? It’s just superfluous. Our 4 best bowlers are all pace bowlers, that’s undeniable, but that isn’t going to function everywhere and one person will have to warm the bench.
That is unless Shakib decides to play for NZ

And that's why I wouldn't bother with CDG. Get Conway in the team, or even stick with Mitchell given he's shown promise with the bat and arguably a better bat than CDG.

CDG isn't close to the quality of our current 4, and certainly no-where near where you'd drop Jamieson for him. CDG's Test numbers don't cry for his inclusion either I don't think.
