I fear this will be a repeat of when we passed on Klopp because LVG was going through a half-decent spell.

Arsenal should be sounding out Tuchel.

There's got to be a good joke about Jesus getting a virus on Christmas Day. but can't think of one....

Exeter are so pretty going forward, so useless at the back, not a top three thing.

Writing that just as Archie scores a worldie, ....

Enjoyable battle that for second place. United the better side, but crap defending and sloppy finishing from Rashford as usual meant it lets Spurs back into the race after a poor few games for them.

If United next season want to make a challenge for the premier league, they need a clinical goalscorer, as while Cavani is top he is old.

Not sure about that defense either, gives up a lot of chances also.

We are a strange side. One day we look like we'd beat half of League One and the next week I find myself longing for our conference XI

Oh well, three league games in front of fans, three defeats. Oh well, Tier 4 Colchester to visit soon

I see Arteta's plan to cross more paid off with the 3rd goal.

No point in VAR if it can't over-rule clear dives like Tierney's though.

One swallow doesn't make a drunk and all that, but much, much more like it.

Not sure what to make of Arbuckle's interview after the game. On the one hand I sort of respect the honesty, but equally don't imagine his players will appreciate being completely shoved under the bus. "Lacking energy and desire" is basically managerese for "well, I did my ****ing job".

Again I don’t think the difference between that game and other Arsenal performances is massive. They compete well but struggle to create from open play. It looks much better when they find a way to get the first goal.
