Me neither in my 30 or so years, but in the context we now find ourselves, I guess what I mean by "unfathomably bad" = a genuine prospect of relegation. Barring that, things can't really get any worse, given any chance of league success is gone already. So if it's a case of just treading water around midtable, I'd stick with him if that's what can be achieved, along with some improved performances. Give him another couple of transfer windows to really create "his" side.

The owners have sanctioned quite heavy spending to be fair, both on transfer fees and on player contracts. The recruitment at Arsenal in the last 2-3 years has been absolutely shocking.

Dodgy Raul being in charge of transfers and getting us attached to super agents has completely screwed us. Almost all our deals of the past few years look rather questionable in that regards.
