Impressive from Ashwin and Umesh Yadav. Even an off-colour Bumrah had two wickets with four dropped off his bowling. Very good batting from Bumrah at the end too. I think smart money is on Australia because of possibility of India collapse or toothless Indian bowling in the second innings, similar to the tour game, but we will see. Hopefully Bumrah will bowl a bit better in the second innings because we need him properly firing to win this series.

It was only a couple of weeks back I joked that him batting ten was "two places too high". Now he's batting three.

Certainly the worst batsman I've ever seen bat #3 in a Test.

If Bumrah had possibly opened and Shaw followed him at 3, we could have still seen the worst batsman ever at #3.

Apart from the truly abominable catching and Kohli's determination to bowl a clearly off colour Bumrah into the ground, not much to complain about for India today.
