Anyone know the maximum number of concussion subs a team can have in a match.
We are getting to the stage where the fielding side, including the keeper & the bowler MUST wear helmets, as well as both umpires, not just the batting side.

I actually don't think there's a regulatory limit. In theory a team could have 50,000 concussion subs if players were just repeatedly concussed and replaced.

The realistic limit as it stands would probably be set by COVID-19 bubbles rather than ICC regulations.

In July 2019, the International Cricket Council (ICC) agreed to allow the use of concussion replacements in all international cricket matches from 1 August 2019, with substitute having to be a "like-for-like replacement" and approved by the Match Referee.[20]

1.2.8.1 In assessing whether the nominated Concussion Replacement should be considered a like-for-like player, the ICC Match Referee should consider the likely role the concussed player would have played during the remainder of the match, and the normal role that would be performed by the nominated Concussion Replacement.

1.2.8.2 If the ICC Match Referee believes that the inclusion of the nominated Concussion Replacement, when performing their normal role, would excessively advantage their team, the Match Referee may impose such conditions upon the identity and involvement of the Concussion Replacement as he/she sees fit, in line with the overriding objective of facilitating a like-for-like replacement for the concussed player.

For example: If David Warner, a pure batsman, is injured in a Test match and Australia name Mitchell Marsh, an all-rounder, as his replacement, then the match-referee has the power to restrict Marsh from bowling in the match.

Pant keeps scoring those hundreds in Australia. Should be in the AT Border Gavaskar XI of more people by end of this tour.

This attack is mostly made up of all rounders and concussion subs though. It's not as good as some shield attacks.

tbf he was the best batsman in the previous BG series on debut. He got starts each time at least. Has he become worse?
Last series he played against England he wasn't even doing that. And failed against Sri Lanka when everyone else cashed in. So.....arguably.

Genuinely unimpressed with Swepson. Dude looks like a Club bowler , but seemingly has taken quite a lot of wickets in domestic. Is it symptomatic of domestic batsmen just not good at all against leg spin ? Or is he a Graeme Hick type person who can't do it against top level opposition ?

"On Friday, December 11, Australian head coach Justin Langer spoke with the 7NEWS network. While issuing a statement, Langer confirmed that veteran cricketer Shaun Marsh is very much in race to make into Australia’s playing XI for the opening Test at the Adelaide Oval. Speaking about 37-year-old Marsh, the Australian coach said: “You never discriminate against age. He’s doing everything possible”, thus referring to Marsh’s golden run with the bat in Shield Cricket this season (485 runs in six innings).

Shaun Marsh last played Test cricket for his country back at the Sydney Cricket Ground against India in January 2019. If he gets selected in Australia’s playing XI next week, the Western Australia captain will add another game to his 38-match Test career.

Earlier, Usman Khawaja’s name also circulated in the media, indicating that the 33-year-old Queenslander might replace one of the two injured Australian openers. However, Khawaja confirmed that he has received no such call as of now and he is only focusing for Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League 2020 (BBL 2020) campaign in the meantime."

well he's played on pitches that have been helpful to spin, compared to this rubbish at the SCG

Yes to the first to a degree. But he's extraordinarily prone to completely losing his length and just bowling full toss trash for an entire innings if the chakras are not steady.
