Don't think anyone in the squad should be dropped based on this result tbh. It's not like we've got anyone really good waiting on the sidelines
But he should also be put under the microscope.
Remove his Pune innings from 2019 and he averaged low 40's last year.
He's averaged 9.5 this tour.
He's now played 41 test innings (which is a lot of cricket) in England, NZ and WI and average's just under 35.
He has a GOAT record in Australia, however it's also coincided with some of the flattest pitches in history there.
Essentially he has a great record in SAF, anywhere else overseas that does a little bit, he has a decidedly average test record now.
It's no wonder the BCCI is trying to avoid the GABBA at all costs next summer.
