or "bad calling by Taylor for the two runouts. Could easily look back at the result after the match and say that was match-losing."
Assumed the non-striker called though unsure. It's starting to really annoy me that CDG never puts in the dive either - I realise he's a big guy but that doesn't stop others.

Yeahhhh never really rated chapman. Hasn't done anything worth noticing in the limited opportunities he's gotten. The likes of Seifert, Blundell and Phillips are in the same boat of limited exposure but have done much better.
He was terrible against spin last time NZ tried him and again lived down to that today. Do think he's very nervous and one big knock for NZ could kickstart him though.

I only saw him in a few matches for hk. What's he done to get picked for nzl? He didn't impress me against evn associate level teams when he batted.

Poor and extremely predictable from "failure without consequences" southee. Well Jamieson can bat a bit. I back him to be responsible enough lol.

Jamieson looks to be comfortably a better bat than Southee, based on those few balls. And his FC/List A record, for that matter.

Jamieson well done, good way to get your intl career started. Smashing one back over bummys head ain't bad at all. That t20 series has really spurred Ross onto the next level of determination. Few other senior players would do well to replicate.

Don’t think it’s particularly competitive to be honest. 50 short of par. NZ are going to have to do some serious damage with the new ball to have a chance.

Wasn't so much what he said, but how he said it, he just really sunk the boot in. And I do agree it was a bad call from Neesham, but combined with his previous comments on Neesham I am officially sensing a theme.
Anything Neesham does attracts lots of wrath from our commentary guys. Last match he played his favorite shot but the ball hit a bit high on the bat and was out. They ripped into him. Sure it was a bad call this game but these things happen. Others guys do the same they get away with these things happen comments.

Yeah, and they're a specialist bowler short. Don't agree with the decision to leave Santner out, even at Eden Park. Looking forward to seeing Jaimeson bowl though.

If the middle order had shown half the application and cricketing sense that Jaimeson did NZ would have got 320 plus. India did well to prey on that though, kept the fielders close in and built pressure well. Ross looks so much in the zone, really enjoying watching him bat.

Buggered a very good start. Lots of school boy stuff unfortunately but I'm happy we took good runs off Bumrah. Bumrah didn't bowl badly but we scored of him. Great to see.

We are about 50-60 runs short, not a good enough total but anything can happen if we can pick a wicket or two early but chances are quite low. There's nothing in the pitch for the bowlers, maybe decent bounce but that only helps the batters. The spinners have done well here but Chapman may not be all that confident not having bowled an over for NZ A recently. Like Jamieson came off with the bat if he can do well with the ball I'll be happy. I don't want to write off Blundell or Chapman this early. They have not had enough chances yet to show what they've got. Looks like one or both won't get a chance next game with Kane and Santner back.

They didn't leave Santner out, he fell sick this morning.

Santner will not be left out ever till the date he retires. That said he should be in the XI both in T20s and one dayers.
