Cummins has had a massive workload the last eight months or so and he seems, if anything, to be operating at a consistently higher pace as he goes. Such a weapon these days.

Good knock Dhawan. Be disappointed not to ton up there but did a good job after Sharma went early.

Sitting here with my son and that’s what happens when a quality quick is in operation

Kohli could have been out 3 times and Dhawan lasted a ball

Whatever it takes!!!
Another reason why it is silly to move the best batsman in the world currently in this format away from his best position just to accommodate one more opener.

Another reason why it is silly is that it is silly? Can’t argue with that.

Tbf if he’d come in at one for not many and batted the way he just did, they’d have been two down in a trice.

But definitely reckon they’re over thinking/ over egging it. Bloke has dominated there for years. Only fella he should move away from three for is Viv, and he retired quite some time ago.

It is just that you start batting differently based on your position, especially in ODIs which gives you time to overthink, unlike Tests or T20s where usually the "how" is clearer. I am seeing somewhere that Labu is slated to bat 3 and Smith at 4 in the Aussie line up. That would be just as silly too, I feel. And I love me some Marnus.

Kohli is good but not in the class of Smith

Unsettled by Cummins and gave wicket away to Zampa

It was coming after first over

He has been batting differently though. Doesn't play the same way now which made him so good at #3.

But yeah, don't mind KL at 4 either.
