I cant see Root lasting long maybe 40 minutes if he lucky he not good in pressure situations last 2 years in test cricket

It’s hard to be critical, but have a look at the new bowler surely before playing that shot.

Seeing that moment with Hulk and Rassie. Two players that grew together at a small province in North West. It does make you think, opportunity of going back to the traditional provincial system could be a positive.

I can't say I'm confident. But this one was lost in the two first innings really. Didn't bowl well enough in helpful conditions and didn't bat intelligently first time out. In other words, a typical England performance at the start of a series.

Going back to the provincial system I really think is the way to go.

They’ve got an excuse of the illness, but only if they don’t produce another similar display for the rest of the series.
