Yes but also runs can come quicker with a new ball. Esp on this pitch edges could start flying through or over the slips for boundaries

Surely he is wealthy enough to temporarily part way with ODI cricket? I always assumed that once England won the world cup the ECB would dial back with the whole white ball revival stuff.
