What a bizarre session of play. What makes this game alive is the fact that either team could spontaneously combust tomorrow. Exciting. We could see a customarily English 5/40 followed by 100 runs for the last 2 wickets.

Anyone willing to make things interesting by putting their dignity on the line? Anyone want to eat a shoe or engage in autofellatio if England win?

Glad Archer got 5, albeit that it was for 100 runs. Feel like he was getting some undeserved (with some deserved) criticism online and its good to see him back in the wickets.

Can't see us getting close to this target but hopefully we continue to put up a good fight tomorrow. An additionally good thing about only losing 1 wicket for the day is that Root and Butler are given another day to get better. On the other hand, they could just get worse and/or it could spread to other players

These chases always seem to go well at the start then turn **** up.

Though there's a certain Ben Stokes who might pull yet another ridiculous knock out his ass before the year ends.

I give England a decent chance here - 60/40 SA. Rabada has to show up tomorrow otherwise I can see England chasing this

What are the odds of the pitch flattening out? Expecting it to deteriorate though.

Maharaj was getting some balls to play up in his last spell. But he was getting it in the right areas enough

95/5% in South Africa’s favour. It’s a monumental number of runs to win a match even for a decent batting line up. The chase against Australia was a freak that can’t happen again. Very happy to be proved wrong again though.

Bookmakers Have SA 4/9 and England 7/4 to win

Is this bug affecting team England gonna be named officially or should we conclude that it is cholera?

Even if England’s XI were fully fit, with the current team this wouldn’t be a target they would chase down, I certainly hold out hope they will, but realistically the only thing we can hope for is to put up some resilience and get within a hundred runs. The illness really doesn’t help and is a serious hindrance, to what actual extent we really don’t know, but I’m sure we’ll be improved the next Test, to what extent remains to be seen.
