he batsman nowHey Rooty, how about bowling the bloke who averages 9 on this ground. Maybe do it while the ball is still new and before they go off for bad light or rain. How about dispensing with the leg slip too?

This is the weirdest thing. You can't just blame the bowling for being short and too straight, clearly there's some bizarre tactical reason behind it.Am I missing something here? Is leg slip seriously the principal wicket-taking plan?
Yes. In the Bodyline era.Am I missing something here? Is leg slip seriously the principal wicket-taking plan?
Yeah I would have usually said it's just crap bowling but if that fielder is there, it's gotta be deliberateThis is the weirdest thing. You can't just blame the bowling for being short and too straight, clearly there's some bizarre tactical reason behind it.
Joe, it's not needed mate.
Weirdly it's been the opposite when I've watched him, it's almost like he telegraphs them. The one you'd watch out for from him is the one just short of a good length to short-of-a-length, because he'll hit the seam and it'll rear up.An Archer bouncer must be a nightmare to detect
Probably the worst pitch for him in that sense, it's just so slow.Weirdly it's been the opposite when I've watched him, it's almost like he telegraphs them. I don't think this pitch is good for any fast bowler really.Probably the worst pitch for him in that sense, it's just so slow.
