Losing the toss and bowling first I would have took 116/3 off 27 to be fair. Frustrating;y good fightback from Australia but a wicket changes this games complexion

Yeah, he's been poor, sadly. Might well have been worth swapping him for Mo this match, who would probably have been a little bit better than Rashid, and we can just put him right down the order in anticipation of his batting being as poor as it has recently. Or could have given Dawson a go, again probably not a big upgrade but could have done alright. Mind you, either could be carted everywhere anyway.

It's not just the spinner, though. We've got opening bowlers who can be really good up front, but no-one who can be consistently tight after that (although Wood does at least pick up more wickets than he used to)
