Who was that dude who inspired "catch the bus" meme during 2011 world cup? His annoying over confidence was ultimately the good luck charm. Bring him back here.

It doesn't matter who criticizes him, we know Kohli doesn't have the guts to drop "his captain".

Hey fellow Dhoni bashers, after WI game would you say we would have been worse off without Dhoni?

Simple answer: No.

Correct answer: In a universe where Dhoni was replaced 2 years ago and Pant/Karthik groomed, yes. In that universe, Rayudu would almost surely be in the side too (because one of the principal reasons the Indian think tank don't want Rayudu is because they don't think they can afford another slowpoke in the side). So, another yes.

WAG. Probably the only guy who can properly criticize Dhoni and not get crucified for it.
While I love everything Sachin has had to say in the media and his recent commentary stints, I'm quite wary of him entering the group of media experts. Basically every former cricketer who has entered the booth has tarnished their reputation in one way or another. I don't want that to happen to Sachin :(

I feel like you read his question backwards.

There was a time when India used to chase 300+ regularly. It's not been a common occurrence recently. They chased one in Oct 2018 against West Indies. Before that you will have to go back to Jan 2017 against England when Jadhav scored 120 off 76 and got MoM. That's all since start of 2017.

That's our Achilles's heal.
As I said. We have forgotten how to approach a chase. 27/1 in 10 overs is where we lost the game.

Chasing 330+ is a rare occurrence unless you're England. It is easier to do under the lights in India, when the dew sets in as well. That's where most of our famous successful chases have come.

There was a time between 2012 to 2016 or so when I genuinely started feeling that 330 odd chases are fair game. FWIW, here are all the games where opposition posted 300+ against India this decade (result 'won' means opposition won and India lost):

Think today is the ultimate proof that India for the rest of the world cup if they win the toss should never elect to chase,,,and obviously if you win the toss against them make them chase:ph34r:

Dhawan though what a ****ing huge loss he is,,,today was ideal for him.

Yes Dhawan always kept the run rate going. I remember in 2015 semi final against Australia when we were chasing similar score India was scoring at close to 6 too until he got out around 12th or so over. If we had managed to do that today until 12th over mark, we would have very likely won.
