Aus (W) vs Eng

WI (W) vs Ind
SL (W) vs SA

This would then make the table a real battle:

Aus 7 / 12 pts (to play NZ, SA)
NZ 7 / 11 pts (to play Aus, Eng)

Ind 6 / 9 pts (to play Eng, BD, SL)
Eng 7 / 8 pts (to play Ind, NZ)
SL 7 / 8 pts (to play WI, Ind)
BD 7 / 7 pts (to play Ind, Pak)

And the prediction is now 3 from 3 and the WC table is alive

SL got stomped by SA earlier this year. They'll be on a high after their win against England, but imo SA should still be favourites. WI are also clearly man-for-man a better team than SL, though they may well be operating in cbf mode for the rest of the tournament.

Also, if anyone doubted Smith and Warner it was the Australians. I recall someone suggesting Smith shouldn't be integrated into the side straight away, that he might be too slow. People were saying Warner shouldn't break up the opening combo. Laughable in retrospect.

I do have to say that Warner has conducted himself pretty much flawlessly since the ban. No media blitz, no PR campaign, no tell-all media campaigns, no social media stuff. Just good cricket.
