For the balance of their 4-day team he can't get a crack but we will definitely see him in Momentum Cup in place of Cook I reckon. Will he or Mosehle take the gloves will be interesting.

If Moshele doesn't keep I don't think he deserves a spot in the side. OK pinch-hitter, but don't thin he's good enough to play as a specialist bat.

Especially with Beurans call-up in ODIs and T20s. Think he has jumped him in pecking order.

One other way might be that Pretorius covers both the allrounder and the seamer position, so there would potentially be a bowling line-up along the lines of the first ODI. But I don't see that happening.

So unless there's an injury (or Duminy doesn't recover - when's he due back?), Markram doesn't look like he's going to the World Cup.

Yeah what is the status of JP Duminy, he has been gone for a while

I think they do... but not 100% sure. Like a performance bonus.

So having watched Morris yesterday I think that I'm over him. He averages 40 with the ball (after 30+ ODI's) and 20 with bat importantly at under a run a ball. His entire purpose is that he can clear the ropes but just not doing the job. His injuries have not helped him at all because I do think he is a highly talented player.

I understand why they keep trying him as he has all the right attributes and his domestic stats are pretty good. But he looks like he's one of those players who just can't seem to make the step up to international level, and given his age and recent run of injuries, it's surely time to move on from him.

4th seamer spot fight continues in MODC. The rankings as things stand for me. Doesn't necassarily mean what I want though. Will make by decision after MODC but Nortje's x-factor - you are well above average if you make AB uncomfortable and you getting through Amla, R.Hendricks and the likes for pace and it also means maybe your action isn't easy to pick with the thunderbolt pace.

Unfortunately I can't see him getting anywhere near the Dolphins team anytime soon. Not sure what his future holds but Dolphins seem to be trying to move away from him with the emergence of Eathan Bosch.

Savage was plagued by injuries for years. His bowling has lost zip and when you want his batting to show it doesn't quite do so. So you not sure what you can rely on.

We backed Rabada's talent, we backed QDK's talent I don't know why we not backing Mulders obvious talent. Yes Rabada had other factors, we needed a wk when QDK got his shot, but we have been desperate for a batting allrounder for a long time. Lets just bite the proverbial bullet and make a choice between Steyn and Olivier, and pick Mulder. Only question I really have at this stage, is does he bat 6 or 7?

I'd definitely bat him at 7 to start - Quinny is good enough to bat at 6, and there's much less pressure on the new guy when batting at 7 and bowling 5th. It'll let him ease into Test cricket with minimal pressure.

He's definitely proved so in this match, and there'll be a bit less pressure on him if Mulder were to come in at 7 rather than Philander.

Is there less pressure batting 7 than 6? Probably when you first come in but when a wicket or two goes down and you are forced to farm strike or hit out I reckon its much worse. De kock when in form is always really comfortable intil 10 or 11 are batting and then he gets out slogging.
