Think they'll come around to that line of thought by the time the WC starts. He's too good to be made to sit out. And for whom, the likes of Rayudu?Pant 100% deserves a spot in this side as a batsman.
He's averaging 50 and striking at 75 in tests dammit
Yeah I know he's just been pushed hard as the next in line to the keeping throne for some reason. Already on a few TV ads so they're in too deep now and have to persist has done sfa in the big bash this summerWhat on earth has Carey done to earn a spot other than stand behind Sayers 2 seasons ago?
It's amazing how Langer can take competent batsmen and turn them terrible. Takes a lot of skill.Australia doing painfully in an ODI? Who knew. Finch's test stint seems to have messed up his ODI batting too.
I don't think he's a good coach for any sort of batsman. As I keep saying, remember his last stint around 2010?It's amazing how Langer can take competent batsmen and turn them terrible. Takes a lot of skill.
I get the feeling that Langer is very good with guys who are natural "grinders" but is hopeless with batsmen that are naturally aggressive.
Look, I'm trying to be generous ok?I don't think he's a good coach for any sort of batsman. As I keep saying, remember his last stint around 2010?
yeah, in a sense the collapses of the last few years have been somewhat understandable because these batsmen aren't that good. there are fewer excuses for a top order that, at various times, read watson katich ponting clarke hussey. that lineup playing today would be arguably the best in world cricket, and yet he managed to turn them into a side that got shot out for <100 on the regular.I don't think he's a good coach for any sort of batsman. As I keep saying, remember his last stint around 2010?
