If any player is tired before a ball is bowled they're welcome to give another bloke their place.Because that is such a bullshit excuse. It may be a fair excuse, but it highlights the cruelty of test cricket in that a toss can make so much difference.
It's why I'm such a big advocate for selecting 5 bowlers in the XI for a Test series that is 3 or more matches long. Not enough recovery time between games in the modern schedule, and most teams don't have the depth to be changing the attack around game to game. Get someone who can bowl 15 tight overs a day who can also bat in your Top 6, and it goes a long way to preventing exhaustion.Because that is such a bullshit excuse. It may be a fair excuse, but it highlights the cruelty of test cricket in that a toss can make so much difference.
2 years ago.At one point to the Indian selectors have to tap dhoni on the shoulder lol
I'm rooting for that to happen partially. There needs to be a reckoning.Diabolical from Aus.
IMO India should just bat out and totally crush em. This is terrible. I don't think Oz even stand a chance of even drawing this.
Funny thing is you never know when you go from enjoying the joke to becoming one. The WI provided us with a template for terminal decline that I think Australia are exhibiting. Symptoms shown by SA too. You don’t know for sure which teams have the resilience to come back. I’m hoping Australia can as long we get our administration right. I don’t want to be seen advocating wholesale sackings but I think the purge of those involved in the direction of Australian cricket the last 5 or so years needs to continue.Amusing reading this morning.... some very triggered Aussies on here.
Or Pujara is a God and India bat well around him.So India have declared two tests in a row in the first innings. Either we have the most overrated bowling attack in the world, the pitches are the biggest roads or the coach is horrid and needs to be sacked. Or maybe some combination of the three.
