”This attack” doesn’t have three seamers in it, and given the Kohli/Shastri selection track record, picking two spinners on a green top isn’t unprecedented.
No argument that the England series was more competitive than the scoreline indicated but it doesn’t do anything to undermine the point that wickets with assistance for seamers are your best chance of beating India.
As a neutral, I’d have liked to see how the MCG and SCG tests would have panned out had Australia batted first.

How many times were India getting rock and rolled for 150-200 in the last year? You keep any attack in the field for long enough when their batsmen aren’t scoring runs and they wilt.
