Why wouldn’t long off be in with a part time leggie bowling?

Nice job Pant. Good knock, DHS notwithstanding

While I'm busy ranting, why the he'll did we prepare a road for Sydney? Should have prepared a green seamer. Give us a better shot at a result.
The groundsman was formerly at Hurstville which is a dog of a track

MCG & SCG get tests by default

First ever Indian wicketkeeper to score a hundred in Australia

Second highest runscorer for India (and both teams) this series.

Solid stuff. Hope his glovework continues to improve as well.

Pujara has scored so many more runs than any other batsman this series it's ridiculous lol.

Nope 3.

Eng could be easily been the other way around with a bit of toss luck.
”This attack” doesn’t have three seamers in it, and given the Kohli/Shastri selection track record, picking two spinners on a green top isn’t unprecedented.

No argument that the England series was more competitive than the scoreline indicated but it doesn’t do anything to undermine the point that wickets with assistance for seamers are your best chance of beating India.

As a neutral, I’d have liked to see how the MCG and SCG tests would have panned out had Australia batted first.

Jesus, Usman...

Indian pacers just had their greatest year in history but the results don't stack up in their favour.
How many times were India getting rock and rolled for 150-200 in the last year? You keep any attack in the field for long enough when their batsmen aren’t scoring runs and they wilt.

More stunning revelations in the news at six.

RR is 5.2 for the last 10 overs. Another 30 overs to go. If they can get 90 in the next 20 (a little less than 5 rpo), can maybe...just maybe...think about declaring with a couple overs to bowl tonight.
