Most ridiculous thing is that we would be leading 2-0 if not for a failure to review Pujara in Adelaide

Pat Cummins is an assortment of the most valuable cricketing virtues i.e he's a quality bowling all rounder, can bowl fast and accurate with a style that allows him to deliver on flat decks and in tough situations. Decent lower order bat too and oh, what a fielder.

Ian Bell had picture perfect technique. Ashwin is very sound, he just plays loose shots. Bad decision making doesn't mean bad technique.

Woakes looks like a proper middle order batsman when he bats. I can't really remember Philander outside of him playing a few nice shots tbh. Hard to find highlights of his batting too.

Watching Ashwin bat is frustrating - it's very obvious he has really good technique, gets to like 25 or something and then chucks it all away with a really, really stupid shot.

Having him and Jadeja in the tail would give us some kind of strength in there which we lack - but difficult to have both away from home (and even at home sometimes!)

If Australia wants to know what playing hard cricket means they just need to ask Pat. Man hates giving up his wicket, hates giving up runs and the look of absolute disgust when he dropped that catch the other day was a pleasure to witness. The enormous skill obviously helps too.

Absolute hero cricketer. Pick him forever.

Two drives off Sharma at the end of the day were gorgeous but he played well all knock. I’m hoping he tees off early tomorrow and gets the ton before the tail falls off because he ****ing deserves to utterly dominate this game in all three disciplines and embarrass the **** out of all 7 above him.

tbf, he doesn't think bringing in those people would make the side stronger, he mentioned them as people Australia may want to bring in to have a look at.

Off topic but does anyone think whether Warner will do a full blown interview after Steve and ban-croft threw him under the bus. I don't think he'll do that. He has already lost too much financially and he'll gain nothing with this. Rather, it might create new problems for him imo.

Shaun Marsh is one of our best 6 batsmen and brings a lot of experience to the side. Mitchell Marsh is the best bowler of all the specialist batsmen in the country. We're all just hoping his batting improves.

I don’t think anything said by TPC or Bancroft changed what everyone already knew tbh.
