Terrific test match though. Deep into day five and three results possible, albeit India way ahead atm. Got to give some credit to the Adelaide deck. It's been a real result venue the past few years.

Never understood why the likes of Richie Benaud drooled over Les Burdett as a curator for eons. For the most part, his pitches were as bland as dishwater. The Adelaide pitches over the past few years have been far better.

It is a pity for the Indian team when they win this seriers, there will always be an asterisk against the series because of CA's SJW pandering actions of massively over penalizing Australia's two best batmen and a guy who was our best pick for opener. Drop Kohli, Pujara and Kohli from th Indian side and this would have been a more even contest. India would have been competitive with their much improved bowling line up but the bowlers got robbed by CA from the chance to bowl to a batting line up with 3 out of 6 guys out of it.

He hits the bat hard and can reverse it, so he's in the game in Australian conditions. More so than Kumar or Shami imo. Having said that, I cant' say I'd seen a lot of him before this tour.
