West Indies get smashed in the first test of a series and everyone bitches and moans about how sad it is that West indies are terrible now and how good the days of Holding and Garner were and how test cricket is dying and two tiers are the way forward. Then in the second test they come back and look a decent, competitive side again and every one of those morons shuts up. This routine has become pretty tiresome.

Not picking the better keeper is pretty stupid. Pant's keeping really isn't good enough. He can fill in as a backup batsman/keeper-bat when needed and eventually replacemSaha if/when his keeping gets up to the mark.
