Agarwal can **** off back to FC cricket. Eyes not spreadsheets. Shaw looks like he's the real deal.Based on performance in this tri-series so far, Mayank Agarwal and Shubman Gill have stronger claims than Prithvi Shaw.
Disagree. Runs, not eyes. Shaw is good too, but Mayank should get the first chance as he has plundered runs both in India and England. Has done all that was asked for.Agarwal can **** off back to FC cricket. Eyes not spreadsheets. Shaw looks like he's the real deal.
I'm optimistic about Pujara after his 50 on that tough Jo'burg track earlier this year.I remember Pujara and Rahane were superb in an A tour of England as well. Think it was FC games though. Pujara's got so much experience in England now, it'll be a shame if he doesn't perform in this series.
I agree with this line-up. Dinesh Karthik in current form can be on standby to replace any of them. Yes, Manish Pandey should not be in the Indian set up unless he can find good ways to accelerate quickly and consistently.thinking this batting order for LOIs
Rohit
Dhawan
Kohli
Rahul
Raina
Dhoni
Pandya
I don't like Raina's inclusion and it's a step backwards, but i'd much rather have two Rainas in the team than one Manish Pandey.
Eh I used to think like this but I just don't buy it anymore, especially not for bowlers. If he can't get through a drubbing without having taking a bag against Bangladesh at home first then he probably won't be able to get through a drubbing regardless.I think Kuldeep is ready for Tests but I hope they groom him in gently with home games against weaker teams rather than debuting him on an England or Australia tour or something.
That batting has 8/10 chances of ending up 80/10.I'd play Ashwin in Pandya's place first up and see how he goes tbh:
Dhawan
Vijay
Rahul
Kohli
Rahane
Ashwin
Saha
Bhuvi
Kuldeep
Shami
Yadav/Bumrah
Forgot about Ishant.I'd play Ashwin in Pandya's place first up and see how he goes tbh:
Dhawan
Vijay
Rahul
Kohli
Rahane
Ashwin
Saha
Bhuvi
Kuldeep
Shami
Ishant/Yadav/Bumrah
