God the one thing I cannot find good versions of in HK is Ramen

There is a place in CWB that does a good Ramen apparently, but I've heard it's too truffle heavy. I don't mind Truffle so I'll give it a shot, but if that place isn't great then I'm not having great Ramen till I eventually get to Japan.

Last time we went to Seibo, one of the fifteen courses was a piece of fried chicken skin which was absolutely delicious.

If you go, do the matching Sakis.

Saki is for people who didn't have grapes nor realise how to distill grain.

I really like Asian beers, though. And for a country full of droughts, Australian beers are surprisingly good.

My 2 cents is I see pro's and cons to both sides of this discussion. Look I'm just a fat **** who loves food full stop.......no matter where it comes from. I can get stuck into a spotted dick just as easily as I can a biryani. You should know though mate that the local produce here in Australia is second to none.......shame it's wasted on a lot of Aussies who would rather munch on chicko rolls and dim sims. I'm quite sure Old Mate Burgey doesn't fall into that category though.

Anyway, I'm heading off home for dinner and MasterChef. Happy to say I'll have the pleasure of Nigella's company this evening and each night for the rest of the week. Unfortunately she isn't parking her slippers under the bed.

Sadly though, hot Chloe is in the elimination challenge this evening. Will be devo if she goes as we're a bit light on eye candy this season with only Clare and Michelle (boiler, but a former model) also in proper contention.
