Actually, these days I most often bring lunch from home. Mrs Burgey is an insanely good cook, something my taste buds are eternally grateful for but which my waistline is rapidly regretting.
I'd say something, but in my (actual food loving) culture it is considered one of the worst insults you could possibly say to criticize someone's cooking.

Not that you'd understand.

Look, all jokes aside I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt during this light hearted banter, but if that's something you're actually putting up as some point of difference or culinary superiority then you'll need to lift your game here.
You probably think Coconut Curry Chicken rice is the stuff that you make out of the can. Something that someone as mentally deficient as Shri could muster up.

I assure you that's now what it is, and your assumption is a sad indictment on your understanding of cuisine.

Well I'm glad you're not going to say anything because I really don't give a flying **** whether you consider it an insult in circumstances where it plainly wasn't meant to be.

"Nah mate, we're just using sandpaper, we're not crossing the line. Lets show these cheating bastards how to cheat".
Fun fact - not is sandpaper only used to tamper cricket balls, but is used by Australians to season their meat before grilling.

Bancroft was just getting prepared for the end-of-day BBQ clearly.

*****, is your supposedly food loving culture one wherein people mistakenly believe that Asian desserts apart from fried ice cream are remotely pleasant to partake of?

I know you think this is an insult, but your inability to enjoy Asian desserts just makes me sad :(

It's like you've grown up being blind or deaf. Denied a whole side of existence. You're taste blind. I'm genuinely sorry for you. A whole world of flavours and textures out there to be enjoyed and you just do not get it. And it's not even your fault. You poor thing

Sorry *****, I'm with Burgey on this one. Euro's do the cream and sugar better, with or without cacao and fruit. So much so that Japanese and Koreans have extensively borrowed deserts from the French with cream and custard filled pastries.

Nah. You're basically T20/ODI lovers of desserts here, you just have not acquired the taste, or do not understand, the other Asian desserts.

I for one absolutely love Red Bean and Sesame flavors. And that's like, mainstream in this part of the world. Real connoisseur go all in on that Durian fruit. I'm going to be giving that a shot this summer, think they have just come into season (or will soon).

I'm sorry but there is whole big beautiful world of flavours out there, you guys don't get it.

Yeah, I've tried loads of them and they just don't cut it. That's why we usually walk down to Messina after heading out to an Asian place for dinner. Just don't enjoy them. I think *****'s limited exposure to cross-cultural cuisine has blinded him to their limitations.

I just think it's unfortunate your myopia means you won't open your taste buds to diverse flavours and culinary experiences. It would do you good for a change.

Plz. I appreciate all flavors. I'm equally happy with good food of any culture. You're the one who spoils his sushi rice with soy sauce.
