Breaking: Matt Renshaw added to the squad for the Joburg Test. #SAvAUS

Seems odd to add to the squad one by one.
Yeah if it had been Burns or Maxwell (as replacement for Smith) then it would have made sense, as they probably shouldn't announce that they're suspending Warner or Bancroft in an indirect way like this. But they kind of are by picking Renshaw first.

Smith's the only one who has been banned so far, so they've just added cover for him so far.

I suspect if they stand down others (Warner and Bancroft, perhaps?), more will be added at that point.

Up there with the most bizarre. But it is no surprise from Telford Vice.
Also the 'woke' bits about how the Boers ran into Shaka etc. Never mind that Shaka died before the Great Trek even began, but whatevs, anything to stay relevant I suppose.

**** like that article is why when the Saffers lose, even unfairly, the rest of the world goes ha ha and brings up their WC record.

You just got to take a step back and think how does Wisden still employ someone on permanent crack?

It's not like Firdose doesn't embarrass him enough with her cricket articles.

I didn't mind Telford that much before, I thought he tried to signal his virtue a bit too much in his articles, but I thought he was a pretty good writer, better than Firdose at any rate (which isn't hard to be fair). But this is really pathetic. In the article one of the photo captions talks about 'Newlines' rather than Newlands. Absolutely dire from Wisden.

He did write good articles.

But like Moonda he seemed to have a penchant for racial/skin colour stories (agendas) but he just added Choking articles to it.

On the other hand, no one has noticed that Khawaja's overseas average has slumped to 27. Solid

Never heard of this Lalor fellow before this tour, but he seems like a bit of a plank.

Also insulted South African beer, the sook.

He's not awful for a Queenslander. They do drink cat's piss up there though. Give me a Castle Lager over a XXXX any day tbh.
