What an innings from Ross. We're going to miss him in the decider so badly if he can't play.

Is it just me or has captaincy across the board in cricket been really poor from this generation.

Holder is crap, Smith in LOs is a joke, Kohli makes stupid selections and now we have this.
Part of it is every team seeming to just pick their best young batsman as captain. Kohli is not a captain, neither is Smith. Root is nothing special in that department. Holder must have been the only guy who was willing to do the job in WI. Morgan is usually ok but still makes bizarre mistakes. I can't really remember much of Faf.

None of them these days can hold a candle to Clarke, Graeme Smith, Stephen Fleming etc.

Faf is pretty good tbf. They seem to rally well under him. You could sort of see it when he came back for that 2nd test against England.

Last great captain was Misbah imo.

Guptill's 180 against the Saffers last year was special alright, but this is something else.

Never thought Ross was capable of this. Epic.

This reminds me of Faf smashing sixes on one leg

Just been enjoying watching this on my phone for the last hour or so, so haven't been able to post ... what an innings. Best I've seen in an ODI for NZ. Taylor for Pope.

I would feel for Nicholls because this is an awful time to come in, but I know he generally looks scratchy at the best of times so yeah...
