***Official*** Australia in South Africa 2018

It shows how easy it is for people to misunderstand data. All it would take is for Starc to be not as good at bowling out the tail, and have less tail-end wickets, for his proportion of middle order wickets to be higher. His average would be a little higher, yet some people would rate him more because he doesn't get as many tailenders out. So stupid.
Ponting is a better bowler than starc

By this logic, I could well claim Mark Boucher is the greatest bowler test cricket has ever seen. Average of 6 and SR of 8, took a wicket in every single full over he bowled.

I have more admiration for a guy who murders fellow men rather than one who preys on figurative children.

Warner is up there with Cardinal Pell, Rolf Harris and Gob in Australian national embarrassments.

Well done Australia, a win over South Africa at home is a great feat. It's a shame knob head Warner can't take sh*t, despite being well on top of the match and widely regarded as one of the worst sledgers in world cricket.

It's certainly over shadowed the match over here in NZ.
Which is not all that hard, given it isn't televised sadly.

I think there's a special level of disdain for Davey Dum Dum in this country as well. Anything involving him always gets the websites clicking over.

He deserves his own thread. I wasn't aware the politics thing was actually true. He's legitimately the most amusingly ****ing stupid human on the face of the earth.

****ing hell, who are Australia to decide if something “crossed the line”
To be fair, if anyone knows where 'the line' is it'd be Australia, given they claim to own the line and crossed over it decades ago never to turn back, but seem to have this incredible knowledge of where it was.

Simon Katich has come out and said suspensions need to be handed out for unnecessary off-field confrontations. If there's anyone who should know about such things, it's him.

I may have already said this but it bears repeating; it's almost as if Australian cricketers get more offended by others "crossing the line" of sledging than the sledge itself. They seem to treat sledging as if it's some noble art passed down through the ages tthat must be respected and revered in the right manner at all times.

Ok to those who reckon lines don’t exist. Look when you’re out with your missus and someone invites her to the dunny so you can enjoy the seconds just remember not to cross the line ok?

I guess Smith has drawn his teams line at personal attacks. Lyon not too long ago said they like to "headbutt" that line so I've no idea what that entails.

Stuff having standards for something as sh*t as sledging. Id go the furthest nasty I could go if someone sledged me in a way I don't like.
If you gonna sledge be prepared to get sh*t back no matter how offensive.

If only these cnuts weren't so good at cricket I'd abuse them more.

Not quite the right analogy. The right one would be, and I'm only making an educated assumption here, that in your situation you've been niggling the **** out of this someone over and over, hour after hour, quite possibly toeing 'this line' the whole way through and then they crack and send out an invite to the dunny love show. I think we've all imagined that's the case here. I'm not absolving de Kock either, that's putrid behaviour if he went that way.

I once remember a bowler asking what an opposition team mate's **** tasted like, and he was met with a similar wife jibe. Maybe Australians think the line only applies to the other side? Not sure. But I do know no one's ever asked Kane Williamson about his Mrs. Or even Steve Smith. Wonder why.
