Ponting is a better bowler than starcIt shows how easy it is for people to misunderstand data. All it would take is for Starc to be not as good at bowling out the tail, and have less tail-end wickets, for his proportion of middle order wickets to be higher. His average would be a little higher, yet some people would rate him more because he doesn't get as many tailenders out. So stupid.
I have more admiration for a guy who murders fellow men rather than one who preys on figurative children. It shows how easy it is for people to misunderstand data. ****ing hell, who are Australia to decide if something “crossed the line”They "crossed the line"
Which is not all that hard, given it isn't televised sadly.Well done Australia, a win over South Africa at home is a great feat. It's a shame knob head Warner can't take sh*t, despite being well on top of the match and widely regarded as one of the worst sledgers in world cricket.
It's certainly over shadowed the match over here in NZ.
To be fair, if anyone knows where 'the line' is it'd be Australia, given they claim to own the line and crossed over it decades ago never to turn back, but seem to have this incredible knowledge of where it was.****ing hell, who are Australia to decide if something “crossed the line”
I may have already said this but it bears repeating; it's almost as if Australian cricketers get more offended by others "crossing the line" of sledging than the sledge itself. They seem to treat sledging as if it's some noble art passed down through the ages tthat must be respected and revered in the right manner at all times. To be fair, if anyone knows where 'the line' is it'd be Australia, given they claim to own the line and crossed over it decades ago never to turn back, but seem to have this incredible knowledge of where it was.
The Holy Church of Ian Chappell, with its patron St. Lillee. They seem to treat sledging as if it's some noble art passed down through the ages tthat must be respected and revered in the right manner at all times.
Harsh on Pell, that's all alleged.Warner is up there with Cardinal Pell, Rolf Harris and Gob in Australian national embarrassments.
Not quite the right analogy. The right one would be, and I'm only making an educated assumption here, that in your situation you've been niggling the **** out of this someone over and over, hour after hour, quite possibly toeing 'this line' the whole way through and then they crack and send out an invite to the dunny love show. I think we've all imagined that's the case here. I'm not absolving de Kock either, that's putrid behaviour if he went that way.Ok to those who reckon lines don’t exist. Look when you’re out with your missus and someone invites her to the dunny so you can enjoy the seconds just remember not to cross the line ok?
