Can confirm. Rest of the side contributed SFA save Simmo and BT for the last wicket.concerning reports coming in that Sean Abbott scored a ton in grade today. Burgey's boy Bertus can provide with us a report as he made 87
Signed with Surrey as well I see, as their 2018 overseas.Nice to see Mitchell Marsh batting well, won’t be long, maybe a year before he’s back at #6 for Oz
I'd forgotten Turner is VC now. They just have way too many deck chairs over at WA at the moment, especially with the Darsh brothers on the back burner.WA
I didn't pick Moody - Instead I went a specialist keeper (Inglis) and I wasn't aware Agar was fit, so went for Short instead. I think: Bancroft Marsh Stoinis Marsh Turner/Klinger Cartwright Agar/Short Inglis Coulter-Nile Behrendorff Mackin. Turner is the WACA vice captain so it is a big call to leave him out. Also a big call of mine to leave out Klinger - tough decision.
Yeah you're right, especially given Paine has just played internationals in the year 2017 no less. Stopped myself from putting him due to Wade and I just asked myself why even bother. There's only so much Paine you can take watching the man deemed better than you dropping catch after catch, bye after bye.TAS
Dunk might not make the Tas team, I think Paine will find a spot once again in the XI somewhere. Wade probably bats 5 or 6.
Yeh true on both counts.I'd forgotten Turner is VC now. They just have way too many deck chairs over at WA at the moment, especially with the Darsh brothers on the back burner.
Maybe Turner and Stoinis can both play? Didn't know Agar was injured but Short and Turner basically bowl filler anyway.

Coulter-Nile would get picked before some of those guys IMO.Queensland's fast bowling attack is depressing. We're supposed to have a fast bowling factory up here but none of our options should be anywhere near the frame for international call up.
The fast bowling pecking order is probably:
Starc
Hazlewood
Cummins
Pattinson
Bird
Behrendorff
Sayers
Siddle
Mackin
Tremain
Mennie
Feldman
Everything below Sayers is up for grabs really. Behrendorff could skip Bird in the pecking order with a strong start to the shield season (or Bird having a slow start). Has Sayers jumped past Siddle? Possibly. Mackin rounding out the last of the options I'd consider a serious possibility of making the national team. I think Mennie has dropped down lower on the pecking order than he should be given his performance in his debut. Am I forgetting anyone?
