Has to be said that Marsh's knock was superb today. Shots all-round the ground, some conservative play, a couple of bombs out of the park and breezed it at a ridiculous strike-rate. Might blow past Cartwright for the Ashes if he has even one good Shield score soon.

He's only playing as a bat this season though with no bowling. Unless the selectors finally decide on no all rounder I doubt it will happen. Personally would prefer it if he's kept out of the Test side and given a decent run in the Shield to work on his game and put up some big numbers before coming into contention.
