Spurious, don't think he's ever batted in the top order

At any rate now is not the time to take the gloves off him, he's worked his backside off to become a keeper

Plus it's not like YJB has been doing particularly well with the bat in tests recently.

I'm not totally convinced by Stoneman, but I think it's time we just persist and stick with someone forever in the hopes they come good. However sometimes it's just obvious that something needs to change, like with Jennings this summer, and with Hameed having a pretty torrid time of things, who do we think out of the options will have the best chance on Aussy decks as the reserve opener?

**** TRJ and **** Mark Wood and the horse he rode in on, if I don't see Stokes, Foakes and Woakes deployed at 6 7 and 8 at some point this series should be declared regardless of results the worst Ashes that has ever been.

At this point England owe it to spectators to at least add meme value on their part to this series to fill that great void of talent.

Rashid might actually be a better use of a spot than another **** fast bowler who's going to get spanked anyway. If he bowls well he can take some big wickets, if he is **** then just don't bowl him anymore.
