Who will give Jimmy the hammering this time around?
Hopefully LyonWho will give Jimmy the hammering this time around?
Drop someone who is finally beginning to look like they might have something about themselves for someone who's been mediocre in division 2?They are not exclusive and I'd say Stoneman is who they just continue with. Drop Malan for Northeast and that is a batting line-up that would succeed.
Always happens when that **** with the trumpet turns up.Well it was pretty full when I was there in 2002......the crowd was absolutely feral. Apologies for the obligatory dig but I don't rate Aussie crowds highly at all (amazing how you get so many bogans in one place at one time) but the Brisbane crowd is by far the worst I've ever come across.
FTR Billy wasn't around in 2002, but that is another reason why I dislike the Gabba so much after they farcically banned him in 2010. ****s.Always happens when that **** with the trumpet turns up.
23.65 from eight innings? The only thing he's done is score two 60s against the West Indies!Drop someone who is finally beginning to look like they might have something about themselves for someone who's been mediocre in division 2?
Deserved it, he plays horribly and like a consummate amateur.FTR Billy wasn't around in 2002, but that is another reason why I dislike the Gabba so much after they farcically banned him in 2010. ****s.
You do not like proper twee cricket grounds? I've never met a cricket fan who prefers the bigger venues which is why outground cricket is so popular in England. I'm not even keen on your largest English venues to be honest, your Edgbastons, Traffords, Chester-les, Ovals to be honest. Give me Chesterfield, New Road or Taunton any day of the week.Dunno why England fans would bother coming here. Too hot, crowds are apparently horrible, the grounds are also all terrible according to comments on here (probably because their own grounds hold as many people as a phone booth) and it's expensive to travel around because we don't live on a postage stamp.
More than happy for them to stay home, especially the Barmy Army, which was funny in about 1995 but is now just a twee cliche.
Don't agree with banning the trumpeter though. He's a lot more entertaining than Alistair Cook's batting tbf.
Talking **** as always Gnske....Deserved it, he plays horribly and like a consummate amateur.
You wouldn't allow that kind of disgrace on the Gabba pool deck.

Yeah we have a fair few of them. I agree the county grounds in the U.K. are terrific, but I think for internationals you do want to have grounds capable of holding really big crowds where possible. You do not like proper twee cricket grounds? Edit:
His timing is legendary.......
Don't worry about this Adders this is all but talkIt was banter til until you brought that disrespectful video into this thread. Just makes me so glad the Gabba will never suffer this again.
I request only once that you delete it, else I'll report Burgey's post and when Harsh sees it he'll accidentally infract you.
No, the teacher would get the right kid and put that child in detention.Isn't threatening to report a post on here the same as being a five year old in the playground and going "Umm, I'm telling on you"
Durham won in 2008, 2009 and 2013 my friend.I remember on boxing day 2010 where after the greatest day of cricket of all time the thread here had descended into a mash of drivel about grounds by the time i came online
Presumably now as much as then the Aussies can't bear to talk about the cricket itself
