See, initially I thought that was pushing it but I checked and Collingwood did actually have a better bowling average than Johnson in that series

Only 2 wickets compared to 15, of course but Colly's ER was so much better too.
Johnson of course didn't retire and had a bit of a say in 13/14.

Usman Gul : "Khawaja's failure is also partly due to the inconsistent selection by team management. He should have been given a go in India tour as well. He comes in fails in couple of innings and gets dropped. Probably an extended run will be given this time ." Give him the same number of away Tests as home Tests.
Is this the most blatant evidence yet of a player shilling for themselves on cricinfo comments?

Swann was mentally destroyed and retired. Injured schminjured. The going got tough and he got going - on QF1 out of Mascot. How that's somehow seen by you as to his credit is beyond me.
Riiiiiiiiiight. A fit cricketer with 60 test matches under his belt and 15 years of FC experience retired because he took a bit of tap. Makes sense.

Why is Mehedy going around the wicket to Smith? He plays at everything anyways, may as well try to land it in the rough.
