See, initially I thought that was pushing it but I checked and Collingwood did actually have a better bowling average than Johnson in that series

I think at least in Warner's case it has something to do with his style of play. There's this hope that the one time he gets lucky and his shots come off in these conditions, he'll score a 151(123) and win them the game.

Swann was mentally destroyed and retired. Injured schminjured. The going got tough and he got going - on QF1 out of Mascot. How that's somehow seen by you as to his credit is beyond me.
