Yep....I think I'm right in saying that Morkel, Rabada and Morris was the pace attack at Cape Town?
England are historically the worst offenders but it does take the piss a bit, essentially have a 12 man side.At any given time, if he's not bowling, it's probably safe to assume he's off.
I can't get past the fact that this is being played at the Oval, so anything under 350 is well under par.Good ball to be fair, but not really a need to play.
Decent little innings, but JB needing some bigger runs soon.
One more before lunch and SA take another session. Probably about honours even with 2 down.
The ball was hooping all over the place yesterday. It seems to me there's always something in this pitch. So I think batting first 300-320 is okay, 350 puts you ahead of the game as you SA basically have to score 400 to even the game up given they're batting last. The pattern of the first two Tests has been things have snowballed and the team batting last has ended up getting crushed.I can't get past the fact that this is being played at the Oval, so anything under 350 is well under par.
I'm happy to have that opinion reviewed when SA are batting.
Yeah the ball has swung consistently, but it's still a good deck. We do need about 80ish more for par I'd sayI can't get past the fact that this is being played at the Oval, so anything under 350 is well under par.
