I disagree. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so if that's what happens then suck it up.Yeah, I think we need to do the sensible and unanimously take out Harvey out of this. Good player but can't be in the top 50. Everyone from 45 to 51 can move a slot up. If any of the voters can provide a proper reason, we can retain.
You voted for Trump didn't you"I don't rate him, so he shouldn't be there."
That's the complete opposite point of the exercise, dumb dumbs. If you want to start a thread with your best ODI team, then go ahead, but this is for the people. DEMOCRACY, BABY.
That would probably be these blokes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cricketers_who_were_killed_during_military_serviceIan Harvey pioneered the bits and pieces cricketer
I was one of them. Definitely deserves recognition imo. Handy batsman and his fielding and athleticism was genuinely groundbreaking and set a standard which everyone aims for today. Also, 3 people voted Jonty Rhodes in 25th spot. He seems like the sort of player that people love and feel a need to throw him into their list because of the impact he had in the field.
I think this is the way it should be, If you are gonna come up with Harvey at 2, might as well explain it. Although something tells me that trolling is not a very good reason.I had a controversial option at 5th and if he makes the list I'll give my reasons
Eh? What about those three consecutive sixes off Dirk Viljoen and the sensational c&b the closing overs of that match at the WACA Aus won by 1 run?...but I honestly can't remember a single freakish ODI performance.
Yessss. This is what I wanted. Despite watching all his career I definitely don't remember a great deal so it's good to see someone who actually rated him to talk about his good performances.Eh? What about those three consecutive sixes off Dirk Viljoen and the sensational c&b the closing overs of that match at the WACA Aus won by 1 run?
What about those 4 wickets in 8 balls to win the TVS Cup final when India had been strolling to victory?
What about that 2 run win in Jamaica when he hit 48no off 30, then took out Lara, Marlon and Smith and they gave the Man of the Match to bloody Ricky Ponting?
What about that huge six over cover off Ben Hollioake at Bristol with the match in the balance?
What about that time he opened the batting and smashed the ball everywhere when nobody else could get it off the square?
Harvs was a visionary. The master of the cameo. He was playing T20 before it was invented. Excellent inclusion and I daresay he will be joined in the 2030 list by his nephew.
